Seeking Experienced IT Project Management Consultant

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Management Consultant to oversee the development of our IT projects. The consultant will be responsible for selecting developers on Upwork, managing their work, and ensuring all projects are completed according to specified goals and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Developer Selection: Assist in evaluating and choosing developers on Upwork based on project needs and technical requirements.
Project Management: Oversee the progress of development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet the specified quality standards and requirements.
Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting notes, and change requests.
Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the project aligns with best practices and industry standards.
Requirements:
Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in IT project management, preferably in software development projects.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of software development processes, tools, and technologies.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Management Tools: Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Compensation:
Flat Rate: The consultant will be paid a flat rate based on the project’s initial duration and scope to ensure commitment to timely delivery and avoid prolonged projects.

Example: For a project duration of 3 months, the total compensation will be agreed upon and split into three equal monthly payments.
