DevOps Engineer with SEO Experience for Reverse Proxy Setup and URL Redirection

Description:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer with a strong background in Nginx configuration, Python scripting, and SEO best practices to assist with the migration of 394 URLs from a WordPress site to a new Webflow site. The project involves setting up a reverse proxy, implementing phased 301 redirects, and monitoring SEO impact.

We have the code ready and the instructions to carry this out. We need someone who can carry this out for us a make sure everything works properly.

We will also need maintenance to slowly remove reverse proxies to incorporate 301 redirects.

Responsibilities:

Configure Nginx for reverse proxy and URL redirection.
Write and modify Python scripts to automate Nginx configuration.
Implement phased 301 redirects for 394 URLs.
Monitor traffic and SEO impact, providing regular reports.
Collaborate with our team to ensure best practices are followed.
Requirements:

Proven experience with Nginx and reverse proxy setups.
Strong Python scripting skills.
In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices related to URL redirection.
Experience with web server management and monitoring.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Preferred:

Experience with large-scale URL migrations.
Background in digital marketing or SEO consulting.
